Seven Day Acne Detox Summary
The Seven Day Acne Detox is an all natural herbal ingestible that boldly claims to have 100% successful testing and also claims to be easier to take than other products of the same type. Other detox methods required several pills to be taken, whereas Seven Day Acne Detox only requires 4 capsules, twice a day (8 pills a day hardly seems easy!) Each bottle, which at the time of this review are priced at $49.99 each contains two full cycles of the detox; most users need at least two cycles to have success. With this product, you take the pills for seven days and then seven days off.
Seven Day Acne Detox is easier to swallow than other products of this type considering that many of the others require up to twenty pills each day. Although the company claims that it is 100% successful, some might miss the part where you are reminded that it may take 4-5 bottles of the detox to have this level of success. (Each bottle is equivalent to two cycles, so in theory it can take 8-10 cycles to be acne free.)
Seven Day Acne Detox Pros And Cons
- All natural product
- Smaller dosage than other, similar detox programs (yet still excessive)
- Mid-range pricing for the industry
- We could not find before/after pictures on the website
- Claims of 100% success were not backed by independent testing information
- You may need to repeat the cycle 8-10 to achieve desired results.
- Still need to take 8 pills a day… may seem excessive
What We Think
Seven Day Acne Detox sounds like it might be perfect (the website randomly lists “weight loss” as a potential side effect), but there may be some huge drawbacks. The commitment that must be made to the program may be more than some people are willing to make and some may be tempted to go through rather than taking the week off as directed. (The website lists the potential problem with this as “clearing up your skin too quickly”) While we appreciate the enthusiasm, we have our doubts about the veracity of the claim. 1
